Research
My main research interest is image generative modeling, mainly deep learning methods for image modeling and imaging inverse problems.
I used to mainly to study of textures, from the theoretical analysis of stochastic image models to the development of new texture synthesis algorithms.
Hence my research works are at the intersection of image processing, applied probability, computer graphics, and machine learning.

News
- (Nov. 2024) I am currently visiting Prof. Jean-Michel Morel at the City University of Hong Kong. I will give a two hour class "Introduction to diffusion models" during my visit . The ressources for the course are here (slides and notebooks).

- (Aug. 2024) I will give a class "Introduction to image generative models" at the BIP Artificial Intelligence for Science organized at Université de Caen Normandie. The ressources for the course are here (slides and notebooks).
- (July 2024) Our paper Scaling Painting Style Transfer has been accepted at EGSR 2024 (CGF paper). I'll prensent it in London next week. See our project page (also hal, arXiv, source code).

- (Sept. 2022, Rouen) I gave a "Master class" of 2x1.5h entitled "Champs aléatoires pour la synthèse de textures" at the Journées communes GéoSto MIA 2022. Slides are here.
- (August 2022, Strasbourg) I gave a course (2x1.5h + 2h of practice session) at the Summer school Deep learning and applications, Université de Strasbourg (29 août 2022 à 2 septembre 2022 à l'IRMA): Generative models for images.
