Young Brunnich's Guillemot. After 21 days, parents kick the young out of the nest and call them from the open sea. But the young can't really fly yet, and many don't make it to the water. On land, they are very vulnerable to predators. Arne found this chick and decided to give him a chance. Maybe the little guy made it to safety? (August 2001).
